Privacy

What Fetch records about you, why, for how long, and how to withdraw your consent.

Who runs this site

Fetch is a personal project. For any question about your data, write to me through the contact page. Contact page

Data we hold

  • Your account (email address, identifier) is managed by Clerk.
  • Your collections and decks are stored in our database for as long as your account exists.
  • The email address you leave in the contact form is kept with your message.
  • Internal usage events are recorded. Page views and analyses carry an anonymous visitor identifier computed from your IP address and browser with a salt that changes every month: the IP address itself is not kept. They are deleted or de-identified after 90 days. Named clicks (brew requests, wanted cards) sent while you are signed in are tied to your account identifier and kept for as long as your account exists, with no automatic purge.

Trackers

  • Clerk session cookies are required to sign in; they do not need consent.
  • Your display preferences are kept in your browser's local storage; they are required for the site to work.
  • Vercel Analytics measures page views without cookies.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how you browse (mouse movements, clicks, scrolling), only if you accepted. Input fields, numbers and displayed email addresses are masked in recordings. Your choice is kept for 6 months in your browser; you can withdraw it at any time with "Manage cookies" at the bottom of the page. Retention of recordings: set by Microsoft, see the Clarity documentation (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/clarity/).

Processors and transfers outside the EU

Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Clerk (accounts), Resend (transactional email) and Microsoft Clarity (if you accept) process data on our behalf. Some are located outside the European Union, notably in the United States.

Legal basis and your rights

Your account relies on contract (you use the service), Microsoft Clarity on your consent, and internal measurements on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can request access to your data or its deletion through the contact page.
